as it was the ploughing week, i can understand that staff plus facilities may have been stretched ie room service waiting 1 hr, but i can live with that as i was at the ploughing, for my first stay i was very impressed with all.

Great stay, friendly helpful staff willing and able to do that bit extra. Unforgettable night (Monday) in the bar enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. This is what Irish hospitality should be about. Most impressive!!

We had a lovely stay. There was only one glitch, afternoon tea was heavily advertised around the hotel and the receptionist told us we could have it any time up to 5 pm. When I enquired at 3 pm ,I was old that it was unavailable due to a wedding in the hotel that day. We were disappointed, particularly as it was still being advertised at reception! Also there was a big wait between starter and main course at dinner, but overall a great stay, once again!
